When engineering multi-layer, double-sided, or metal core PCBs, handling heat dissipation is critical. High-frequency Rogers 4000 layers allow clean wireless transmittions with very low loss. Simultaneously, heavy computation elements require structural cooling, which is where copper-based and server heatsinks come in, acting as essential components of high-density electronics stacks.

Single-Sided PCBs have conductive circuits routed on only one side of the substrate, typically used for basic consumer components or budget-sensitive designs. Double-Sided PCBs have copper layers on both faces of the laminate, interconnected via through-holes (PTH). This allows for complex circuit layouts in a more compact layout, ideal for automotive controls, instrumentation, and power distribution modules.
